Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVE TO CUSCO AND LOCAL RUINS

This tour begins with the pickup of passengers in your hotel and then visit the following attractions archaeological and religious sites: The Cathedral .- Monument religious colonial extraordinary artistic value Sacsayhuamán, Sacsayhuamán is only 15 minutes by car from the center of Cusco. The fortress\\\' stone walls zigzag across three platforms and have an average height of 360 meters; some stones are up to 9 meters in length and weigh up to 300 tons. Tambomachay, this place , known as the \\\"baths of the Inca,\\\" features crystalline springs and waterfalls. Red Fortress of Puca Pucará, The Red Fortress of Puca Pucará is an amazing fortification consisting of various towers, platforms, and passages. Amphitheatre of Kenko, The amphitheatre of Kenko is said to have been an auditorium and speaking place of the Incas. Within its intricate stone construction, there are passages, channels and small steps engraved in the shape of a puma - a sacred animal to the Incas. Korikancha, The Temple of the Sun was constructed during the Inca Pachacutec\\\'s reign over the Empire.

Day 2: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

This guided excursion is only offered Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The entire native market at Pisaq is only available on Sunday. This tour of the Sacred Valley includes the Inca Citadel at Ollantaytambo. This is a large site of ruins characterized by fine masonry, which includes terraces, canals, granaries, fortress walls, and the Temple of the Sun. The markets at Pisaq are also featured. Here you can purchase beautiful textiles, jewelry and ceramics at bargain prices. Return to Cusco at 6,30 PM. .

Day 3: CUSCO MACHUPICCHU

Early in the morning, transfer to Cusco train station for a three hours train ride to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the most renowned examples of Inca architecture, known as \\\"The Lost City of the Incas\\\", get down the train in Aguas Calientes station for a 30-minutes drive climbing a 6km of winding road to reach the marvellous citadel. Upon arrival, guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial (the most important Intihuatana), the Royal Quarters, the Temple of Three Windows and various burial grounds. Time free to stroll by the archaeological site. Lunch at a local restaurant (optional). Late afternoon transfer to your selected hotel in Machu Picchu or in Aguas Calientes, closest town, at only 15 minutes by bus from Machu Picchu.

Day 4: RIVER RAFTING IN THE WILCAMAYU(VILCANOTA) RIVER

Early in the morning collection from the hotel and drive through the Andes to the Sacred Valley of the Incas to our private put in, located in Pachar, here you will receive your safety talk and equipment. After a brief period practicing on the flatter parts of the river We will begin your rafting experience, passing down to Ollantaytambo and its Inca terraces and through rapids of class II and III finishing with “El Resbaladero” (the slippery one) which a strong CLASS III rapid that includes waves and small whirlpools. IN THE TAKE OUT We dry off and change cloths, we will head a picnic tent lunch at the side of the river.(toilet facilities)

Day 5: RETURN

Breakfast in the hotel. To opportune hour transfer: Hotel/Airport
